Runaway Bay Lodge is perfect for couples. Runaway Bay Lodge is conveniently located at Mile Marker 420, next to The Pine Island Boat Ramp and RV Campground, and is still only 45 minutes from Daytona Beach and about 1 hour from Orlando. We are about 45 minutes to St. Augustine and only about 90 minutes from Jacksonville. So, even though we are out of the way, we are close to major attractions, like Disney, Epcot, Universal Studios, Sea World, etc. The best part is, you hardly even have to use the interstate to get to these destinations, because there are great back roads that get you to the attractions without the tourist traffic on the interstate. This makes our location especially great for travelers to Bike Week, Spring Break, Beach Week and Nascar events in Daytona Beach, FL.
