Our 3 Bedroom home has spectacular lake views from every room. This home is actually built right over the water and you can fish just outside the bedroom door(s)! 2 bedrooms feature plush queen size beds and there is a queen size sofa sleeper, in the living room. The other bedroom is actually a studio apartment and has 2 full size beds, a recliner and a couch, as well as, a full kitchen, private entrance and bathroom. There is also a large private covered and screened waterfront patio looking straight out to the lake towards the setting sun every evening. This is the 2nd largest single unit at Runaway Bay with large kitchen, living room and private back deck and covered patio. This is the perfect seasonal rental for snowbirds, or temporary housing while looking for your new Florida home. The 3rd bathroom is an outdoor unisex shower with hot and cold water. This happens to be a favorite place for our returning guests to shower. Runaway Bay Lodge is your private retreat to beautiful Florida waterfront sunsets, fresh cool waters and nautical destinations up and down the St Johns River, from Sanford, FL to the Atlantic Ocean, for dining, entertainment, fishing, camping scuba diving, snorkeling, boating, jet skiing, kayaking canoeing, etc… The St John’s River boast numerous famous fresh water springs and State Parks that are home to an abundance of wildlife, vegetation and north flowing waterways and lakes. Just across the lake, from Runaway Bay Lodge, you can make your way to the crystal clear water at Silver Glen Springs, or 1 of the other springs on Lake George. You can stop for lunch, "by boat" at restaurants in Astor on the south side of the lake or in Georgetown, if you go north from Runaway Bay Lodge.
